Hi Tom, thanks for choosing Green Acre Lawn Care! Could you leave us a Google review? (review link)

Sent by the owner

Sure thing. Glad to help.

Example: a made-up lawn care company. The owner sends this same text to every customer.

What this is.

Google gives every business a free review link. It opens the review box for your business.

Send that link to every customer, the same way, when the job is done.

Free AI, like ChatGPT or Claude, can draft your replies to reviews. You fix them before you post.

It costs nothing. You just have to send the text every time.

Want it sent for you? See the Review Request bot, coming soon.

What you need

  • Your Google Business Profile (free)
  • A computer, one time, to get your link and QR code
  • A saved text on your phone
  • Free ChatGPT or Claude for review replies, if you want

How to ask for Google reviews.

  1. Get your link.

  2. Save the QR code.

On that same screen, save the QR code. Put it on invoices or cards.

  3. Save your text.

Copy the text below into your phone's notes. Paste in your review link.

  4. Send it every time.

Text every customer the day the job is done. Use the same words each time.

  5. Draft your replies.

Use the reply prompt below in ChatGPT or Claude. Fix the reply so it sounds like you.

  6. Reply to every review.

Google's review rules

Ask every customer the same way. Never ask only happy customers.

Google's rules ban asking only for good reviews.

Never offer discounts, gifts or free work for a review. Google bans that too.

Don't pressure anyone to post a review on the spot.

Texting rules

Only text your own customers.

Texting by hand from your own cell phone is normal texting.

A business texting app needs a one-time phone check (A2P) first. Then end each text with Reply STOP to stop.
