Idea for contractors · Job siteAsk Gemini in the truck to take you to the next job

What happened

Google says Gemini on Android Auto can now use your Gmail, Calendar, Maps and Photos. You ask out loud, like "Take me to my doctor's appointment", and it finds the place. You choose to turn it on, and you can turn it off. For now it works with personal Google accounts, not work accounts.

How a contractor could use it

Put each job in your calendar with the full address. Then in the truck, say "Take me to my next job." No scrolling through texts at a red light.

Added 2026-10-21. Check any tool's price and terms on its own site before you use it.
