OpenAI said on Oct 30 that account switching is rolling out in the ChatGPT iPhone and Android apps. You can stay signed in to 2 ChatGPT accounts and switch without signing out. Each account keeps its own chats, memory, files, settings and plan.

How a contractor could use it
If the shop has a work ChatGPT account and you have your own, sign in to both. Use the work one for bids, customer emails and job notes, and keep home stuff in yours. Check which account is on before you start a chat. Go to Settings, then Switch account.
