What happened
Anthropic says Claude now works inside Google Docs, Sheets and Slides. It is a beta add-on for paid Claude plans. Claude opens next to your file, reads it and can write formulas, add charts and fix text. By default it asks before each change.

How a contractor could use it
Open your job list or price sheet in Google Sheets. Ask Claude to add totals, flag jobs that went over and make a simple chart. Read each change before you say yes.

Google said on Oct 28 that Fill with Gemini in Google Sheets now shows the web sources it used right in each cell. It can also fill up to 3,000 cells in one go. It is rolling out on some paid Workspace and Google AI plans.
